Dayspring offers an experience-based program which is linked to people’s journeys and academic training. This involves training in spiritual practice which allows you to begin at your particular level, but encourages you to journey further.
The belief in spiritual direction as a significant aid to our spiritual journey has led to Dayspring offering professional training for people responding to recognized gifting in spiritual direction. The Dayspring training in Spiritual Direction is specifically designed for this purpose, offering practical opportunities in practicum contexts.
The Dayspring training in Spiritual Direction is a Recognised Program that meets the requirements of the Formation Guidelines of the Australian Ecumenical Council of Spiritual Direction. A Re-Recognition process has just been completed in October 2017 to further strengthen our resolve to remain current and relevant as a spiritual direction training program.
Further information, including course outline and requirements, is available in the brochure below. Applications for the next intake should be returned to Dayspring by 23 November 2018. The next course commences in February 2019.
