 “Encountering the Mystery of the God who is Enough” The Rev'd Philip Carter, a long-standing friend of the Dayspring Community, willingly accepted the invitation of the Guiding Committee to deliver the 5th Annual Stitt Oration on 28th September 2025. Philip, a retired Anglican Priest, is the founding Director of the Julian Foundation, an organisation in Adelaide not dissimilar to Dayspring. He brings the wisdom of many years of interest and practice in the Contemplative life, as well as in the training of people as Spiritual Directors.  Philip's recently published book, entitled "Ordinary Heaven", is an extraordinary work that lovingly renders a lifetime of spiritual experience and reflection, honouring life and the sacred ministry of spiritual direction.
